John also has a lot of experience as a wedding magician. In fact he would
probably tell you that weddings are possibly his favourite 'gigs'.
Having a close-up magician at weddings has now become a very popular
part of that important day. What better way to have your worries eased
than to have John there to entertain your guests during those parts of your
day where you may be busy but your guests are perhaps less involved.
John can keep your guests entertained during any part of your big day.
Here are some of the areas where John can keep your friends and family
occupied with some mind bending magic:
During the photographs.
Following the service, a considerable amount of time can be spent
with the photographer. Many of your guests will only be required to
be in one or two photographs whereas you will be in almost every one.
This is an ideal opportunity for John to weave his way in and out of the
various groups of guests amusing and amazing them with his mysteries.
Champagne and canapés
Many weddings have a champagne and canapés style of buffet following
the ceremony instead of a more formal reception. This is another way in which
you can benefit from the presence of John and his talent for providing magical
entertainment by mixing and mingling with your guests and mystifying them
with his 'box of tricks'

No matter how many hours you and your partner have spent working on
who will sit at which table with who you always seem to end up with one
or more tables with guests that do not know each other. This situation need
not be a cause for concern if you have John there to 'break the ice' by involving
everyone at the table with his magic. The magic and John's 'one liners' will
leave them all bewildered and laughing. A group of strangers becoming a
group of friends in a matter of minutes.

John does his best to make sure
the children at the table are not overlooked. If you wish you can have John
entertain the children in a separate room with his kid's show
(see Kid's Magic page). This takes away the worry of constantly looking to see
if the children are being well behaved and gives the parents an opportunity
to relax .
The ' Evening Do'
Quite often the formal reception, that usually involves close friends
and family,is followed by an evening party with more guests.
The evening normally begins with the guests arriving and meeting in
the bar and chatting.John is able to meet and greet and stroll
around the bar bemusing the guests. He can also perform at
the tables during the buffet and disco.
