Q. How do I book John?

Q. How far in advance do I need to book John?
A. Contact John with your date and he will reply as soon
as possible letting you know if he is available on that date.
Q. What is John's fee?
A. John's fee depends on the following:
1. Travelling distance to your venue. Although John is happy to take
bookings anywhere in the country (or abroad!), he tends to work mainly in the
Midlands. Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire
and Leicestershire is where he has worked the most.
2. The number of guests attending your event. The more guests you have the
longer he will be there entertaining them. He works on an average of ten to
fifteen minutes for a table of ten. Therefore twelve tables would take
between two to two and a half hours.
If you have a very large group, for example a large company dinner or
conference, John can supply other magicians to accompany him thus ensuring
all your guests have the opportunity to see some good magic and have a good
time. You can be sure they will remember your event for years to come.
Q. What kind of magic does he do? What does close-up mean?
A. Close up is exactly as it sounds. John will perform 'close up' at your table
utilising sleight of hand with cards, coins, rings, watches, elastic bands
cutlery and other items he will have about his person. He will also mystify
you with one or two spooky items that will blow your mind! You will be
wondering for weeks how he could possibly know what you were thinking.
